In order to balance the rope, two opposing sides should be handling it equally so if we are to dress modestly, LOWER THE DAMN GAZE OF YOURS.

There is a particular clause a respected man in my community said to someone when I was merely ten or twelve. And ever since that day, the clause has stuck in my brain with the most firm glue. The clause had the following words,
"If a woman is standing nude in a crowd not even at that time any man can touch her without her CONSENT."

Now growing up that clause acted as a termite for me, slowly killing me on the inside with its stinging words. It was not until the 10th grade that I was the subject of rumours in my school and the source was a boy who by the way was my junior. That boy for years harassed me by spreading all sorts of fake newses about me; Me being his girlfriend. I was head girl in my school (A flex that was necessary) so I had to visit boy’s section most of the times and each time while passing their class a loud uproar of these prick boys filled my ears shouting my initials. It was a daily routine for me until I decided to tell the administration about that.
Every day, I used to come back home and ponder where was me giving the signal to him ? When did I ever give him the right or the consent to spread such news about me? What gesture of mine made him to think that I like him and that it’s okay for him to talk about me in this way? Each day, I thought WHEN DID I GIVE HIM THE CONSENT? Because apparently a women gives the consent and the poor men acts then.

I was traumatized by this statement so much that whosoever used to say this in front of me I used to lash out on them without seeing who they are.

Okay so maybe some of you are too barbaric to not consider the rapes of animals as a serious matter at all. So let’s move on to the incident that happend couple of days ago.

A woman travelling in her own car from motorway with her children was asking for it? Did she run out of gas on purpose? Was she really asking for someone to come out their and traumatise her children for the rest of her life. Was she really asking for someone to ruin her entire life?
I have never felt scared and frightened before in my life ever. A place where a married, mother of three is not safe walking on one of the most prestigious highways of the country, what really is there left for us?
Oh WAIT, she was not with her Husband. Damn right I am sorry. Because the women aren’t allowed to travel alone at any cost right? Because we women are in need of the constant reminder that we are nothing but a mere puppet for the men as men are no one but our Masters and masters alone.
The CCPO said that why was the woman travelling alone?well he seems to have a point right? We shouldn’t travel alone at all. We should be with our men when travel so that no one can dare see us with filth in our eyes right?

My nani and dadi used to tell me that when the Shiks and Hindus raided the houses of Muslims the mother used to kill their daughters with their own hands. And I used to feel safe and secure that I am in a country where no such barbaric act is seen. But guess what, we are back to 20th century, where the women may be thinking of killing their daughters because there goes a saying as, "aik baar ka duukh baar baar se zyada behtar hota hai."

They all started with Women covering their selves enough, not to seduce the men who apparently cannot help themselves and pounce at every other women like they own them. Now how many cases of women fully covered, what you all pricks and perverts call "Modestly" haven't been raped? From little children to the women with kids of her own have been raped repeatedly and still it is the women who are to blame.

And if we say women don't need men all these pricks come up with phrases that "be deen hogae hai" "maghrib ki fahashi hai ye sab" As far as I know it's not about deen anymore, it's about the humanism that maybe you should see if exists deep down in your skin.
