True Friend!!!

Today is the birthday of the girl who truly understands the meaning of friendship. The girl who really made me believe that true and genuine people out there exists.

I don’t know her for so long, but still she’s one of those who made a strong bond with me.

We met back in 2016 and she was the topper,( so an average girl like me admired her.) But she wasn’t proud at all, not a single drop of proud blood. She helped me a lot in my studies. She shared her problems with me and advised me about mine. In short she was the perfect girl.

We met even after our academic session was over and one day she proved that she is truly an amazing girl with 0 percent of selfishness in her blood.

It was the time for our university’s admission and just one day before the closing date, I realized that I hadn’t applied in a university that I should’ve. I called her and was telling her the whole problem when all of a sudden she said me that I can have her admission form.

It was something I didn’t expect so I asked her again, thinking she might have two admission forms. But, she had just one. Only one admission form that she was offering to me, and it wasn’t the kind of offer that demands a no in the answer, the kind of offer that’ll make you say yes.

That time, my eyes literally felt the tears and they started running down my cheeks. I was thinking how anyone can be so selfish. We weren’t friends for so long and to make such an offer required quite a big heart.

I was still saying no when she said that I am her friend and I need this form more than her. She did this without consulting her parents and that’s the purest, bravest thing anyone can ever do.

I just want to say,

Happiest Birthday Noori. May we remain friends for the rest if our lives Ameen♥
